Digital referral management

The referral functionality supports communication between the referring professional and the healthcare provider responsible for the examination or treatment. Relevant medical history, previous results and the purpose of the referral can be made available as part of the workflow.

Receiving institutions can review incoming referrals before the patient arrives and prepare for the requested care. Where capacity is available, appointment booking can also be connected to the referral process.

Patients can review their referrals in one place and filter them by date, healthcare provider and status, including newly created, booked, completed, expired or cancelled referrals.
